About Me

Meet the Family Tree Detective

I am a bit of a detective. I love to go hunting for information and find facts. My love of genealogy has grown over time and I find myself obsessed with the details of my family who came before me. There are hundreds, but if just one of those people did not exist, or chose a different path, I would not be here today.

For over 30 years I have been researching my family history and I have completed the Diploma of Family History at UTAS. That, plus the years of hands-on, do-it-yourself research makes me the perfect person to be your Family Tree Detective.

I am actively involved in several community groups, including the historical society and the A. P. & H. Society (Show Society) with which I published a book. Titled, ‘100 Years of Showing Off in Cohuna’ the book celebrates the centenary of the Cohuna A. P. & H. Society and is available on request (on behalf of the Society).

In addition to genealogy, I am a newspaper sub-editor and journalist, so you can be assured that my attention to detail will ensure your family tree will be a polished product.
